This includes work for public and private sector clients, including specific expertise in respect of SME finance. 

We are experienced in interpreting company accounts, examining gross value added, export data analysis, and working with a range of enterprise data including the value added scorecard, GEM data etc. 

The company has a significant track record of work with private sector, from major corporates (Panasonic, NPower and Marconi) to SMEs (Britannia Music, Stonegate Farmers, Sonneborn & Rieck Ltd), advising on a range of technology, business & process issues.

Market analysis often involves the preparation of company databases and extensive firm surveys; generally combining a mix of long and short surveys providing both breadth and depth. 

Esys has developed specific expertise in modelling the demand for financial products for a range of sectors, industries and areas including work in establishing the Carbon Fund (Carbon Trust) and the Recycling Equity Fund (for WRAP). In addition to our work for a range of RDAs, the company is currently preparing a quarterly monitoring framework for Finance Wales Plc. 

Esys has had a long-standing involvement in supporting the development of the social enterprise sector from work with individual enterprises to strategies for the supporting the sector's development.

Esys is familiar with Green Book appraisals and have undertaken a wide range of cost – benefit studies from major infrastructure schemes to the merits of kerbside glass collection schemes.
